Software that allows users to graphically represent mind mapping-- a process for brainstorming, notetaking and other writing tasks. 

Uses and Potential Benefits

Useful for individual or group brainstorming.  Can be saved to graphically display brainstorming work for future use.  Example: a team might use a mindmapping program to graphically document their brainstorming process for later use.
